Director: Murray Battle(No Tagline)Synopsis: Disguised as a priest, ex-convict David Maltby enters the Bahamian Consulate and takes the Vice Counsel hostage. While Police Chief Don McCowan tries to negotiate with Maltby, the SWAT team captain tries to move in and end the conflict swiftly. Cast:

• Stand Off reunited David with frequent co-star and college friend Gordon Clapp, whom he has worked with in several John Sayles films and theatre. Clapp, Sayles, and David all attended the Williams College together.
• Stand Off was shot in Canada and never saw a theatrical release. It went straight to video.
