Critical Praise & Commentary:
• "His life is disrupted by the mysterious arrival of a former platoon-mate (the excellent David Strathairn) and, more pressingly, the latter's nine-year-old Amerasian daughter (Seattle native Zoe Weizenbaum, soon to appear in the much-anticipated cinematic adaptation of the bestselling Memoirs of a Geisha)." -Seattle International Film Festival

(David On His Role:)
• [on director Gabrielle Savage Dockterman] "As ambitious a project as this was, she was pretty on top of it. It didn't feel like she was a first-time director. It's a brave film to make." -David Strathairn, 2006
