• 2007: DAVID TO APPEAR IN TRUMBO DOCUMENTARYDavid will appear in the upcoming documentary Trumbo about blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo (based on a stage play). Peter Askin is set to direct. David, as well as actors Joan Allen, Michael Douglas, Paul Giamatti, Danny Glover, Nathan Lane, Liam Neeson and Donald Sutherland will recite letters written by the scribe about his banishment, his politics and his experiences on films like Spartacus, Exodus and Roman Holiday. • DECEMBER 5, 2007: SYMPHONY SPACE CELEBRATES AUTHOR RICHARD FORD David Strathairn will take part in the upcoming Symphony Space reading celebration of writer Richard Ford. The Pulitzer Prize-winning author will talk about his trilogy of novels and the experience of writing the unforgettable character of Frank Bascombe. David will read an excerpt. • NOVEMBER 26, 2007: DAVID ONSTAGE IN MONDAY NIGHT MACBETH David will participate in Classic Stage Company's upcoming open rehearsal series, Monday Night Macbeth, November 12 - December 3, 2007. Shakespeare's great tragedy will be explored by four different casts and directors on four consecutive Monday nights. Under the direction of The Shakespeare Society's artistic director Michael Sexton, David and Frances McDormand will tackle Macbeth's third act on November 26. • NOVEMBER 16 - 25, 2007: THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL David is set to attend the 48th Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece during it's running dates from November 16 - 25, 2007. Long-time friend and collaborator John Sayles will be honored with the festival's Golden Alexander Award, and his newest film Honeydripper will have its European premiere. David will be on hand with Sayles, as well as Sayles's longtime partner and producer Maggie Renzi and actor/friend Chris Cooper, to present and discuss his films. • NOVEMBER 9, 2007: THE SENSATION OF SIGHT (LIMITED) THEATRICAL RELEASE David's independent film, The Sensation of Sight, which he co-produced and stars in, will have the premiere of its world theatrical release on November 9, 2007 at the Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH. Screening at 8 p.m., the cast and crew will also attend and take part in a Q&A following the premiere. The film is slated to begin its limited theatrical release in NH and expand to other States in 2008. More information to come.

• OCTOBER 25, 2007: DAVID AT THE PUBLIC THEATER'S SEASON PERSPECTIVES David Strathairn will join The Public Theater's Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and a spectacular line-up of artists for a free behind the scenes look at their 2007-2008 season. David and playwright Richard Nelson of Conversations in Tusculum, which David will star in at The Public in January 2008, will discuss the upcoming play. • JULY 23 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2007: DAVID TO FILM A TALE OF TWO SISTERS  David is set to star in DreamWork's horror flick A Tale of Two Sisters. The film is a remake of Kim Jee-Woon's 2003 Korean thriller of the same name. David will play the lead role of a concerned father of two girls who return home after spending time in a mental institution. Once there, they are forced to deal with their stepmother's obsessive and unbalanced ways as well as an interfering ghost. Brothers Thomas and Charles Guard will direct the film, which is scheduled to shoot from July 23 till September 30, 2007 in Shreveport, LA and Vancouver, Canada. • JULY 14, 2007: MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH L.A. PREMIERE The official L.A. premiere for cast, crew and contributers of David's independent short Matters of Life and Death will be held on July 14 at director/writer Joseph Mazzello's alma mater, the University of Southern California (USC). • JUNE 25, 2007: AT WAR: AMERICAN PLAYWRIGHTS RESPOND TO IRAQ David Strathairn will join Michael Cerveris, Julianna Margulies, and other performers in The Fire Dept's inaugural Salon Series readings At War: American Playwrights Respond to Iraq on June 25. The event will stage readings of new plays that address compelling contemporary issues, followed by food, drink and intimate discussion among the artists, audience and noteworthy guest speakers. • MAY 27 - JUNE 3, 2007: DAVID TO STAR IN BEAUTY ON THE VINE David will join the Off-Broadway cast of the Epic Theatre Center's dramatic play Beauty On the Vine. David previously took part in the first official stage reading of this play and will replace actor Victor Slezak in the role of the murder victim's father. • JANUARY, 2007: DAVID TO FILM THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM David is set to star in Universal Picture's thriller, The Bourne Ultimatum, the third installment in the popular spy series. The film picks up on Bourne's race to discover the final mysteries of his past while a government agent tries to track him down after a shootout in Moscow. David will play the agent/leader of a secret operation which is hunting Damon's character. Filming begins in January, 2007 and will be directed by Paul Greengrass.
