Date: August 12, 2004 (Stone Ridge Public Library, Stone Ridge, NY)Overview: David Strathairn, as well as sportswriter and baseball expert Roger Kahn, led a moderated Q&A discussion on John Sayles's 1988 film Eight Men Out before it was screened at the Stone Ridge Public Library in upstate New York on August 12, 2004. The discussion panel included a look at the infamous "Black Sox" scandal of 1919, of which the Sayles film is based upon. Related Links:
