Overview: David Strathairn was onhand at the Epic Theatre Ensemble's 7th annual winter gala, which honored Lancτme and Tim Timberlake of Principal Chelsea High School for their visionary support of Epic's "After-School Shakespeare" Program. The event took place at 6 p.m. at 24 Fifth in NYC. Over dinner, Epic Theatre auctioned off a series of coveted live auction prizes, including a live at-home performance by David and actress Kathleen Chalfant that went for $4,400. David has served on the artistic board, as well as been an avid supporter, of Epic Theatre since its conception and was a previous honoree at the 5th Annual Winter Gala.
