David earned his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor for his critically-acclaimed performance as Edward R. Murrow in Good Night, And Good Luck. The film was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director (George Clooney), and Best Original Screenplay (George Clooney and Grant Heslov.) However, the film did not win any of its' nominations. The Best Actor win went to Philip Seymour Hoffman for Capote.Related Links:
