David has been a long-time supporter and performer for New York Stage and Film, a non-profit company which since 1985 has partnered with Vassar College to present the Powerhouse Summer Theatre Season. The event began with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction at 7:30 p.m. Other guests (and friends) who were on-hand to honor David included John Sayles, Amy Irving, Diane Reeves, Dana Delany, and Julianna Margulies.For more remarks about David and this gala, see the following article from Ulster Publishing.
