Henry, a lost soul from the American Dream, wakes from a sweat-drenching nightmare to face the torpid reality of Mexico. Cast: David Strathairn .... Henry Daniel Faraldo .... Viejo, Guitarist Notes: • Eyes For Consuela is based on the short story "The Blue Bouquet" by Octavio Paz. • This production marked the world premiere for Sam Shepard's play. • David also starred in another Shepard play: A Lie of the Mind in 1985 and consideres Shepard to be one of his favorite playwrights.
