"An odd sort of love story."

Synopsis: Gay Dean Packard--divorced, broke, suicidal--just out of a mental ward. Hank Sorrel--a loner, a stunt man--just out of a minimum security prison. She's got two kids who want their mother back; he's got a car that won't start. They're all running away from a small Texas town--no one gets far, but in the journey, each one discovers what it is to see past one's shadow and into the heart of another.
